I am from Berens River, Manitoba, where I grew up until the age of 15 before moving to Winnipeg to continue my education. I am a proud mother of three wonderful children and a grandmother to one grandson. My family also includes one cat and two dogs.

I graduated from Red River College with a diploma in Business Administration. I also have eight years of experience working with Child and Family Services as a Support Worker, where I developed a strong passion for helping and supporting people.

In March 2018, I began working for my home community as a Membership Clerk. I continued in that role until 2023, when I joined the Southern Chiefs’ Organization. After six months, I returned to my community to work in the Education Department, where I continue to contribute to and support my home community.

I enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, taking evening walks, and travelling whenever I have the opportunity.
