The Berens River First Nation Post-Secondary Program provides educational sponsorship, guidance, and financial support to eligible Band members attending university, college, or accredited training programs.

The program is designed to help Indigenous persons improve their skills and find employment. We assist with skills training, living allowances, employment retention, resumes and cover letters, computer access and more.

This program supports Berens River First Nation high school students who need to attend school off-reserve when specific courses or resources are not available in the community.

Head Start is designed to meet the emotional, intellectual, social, and physical needs of the child. It is other primary focus is to provide parents/caregivers support, and resources in child care development.

Abinochiasak Daycare Centre provides high-quality, culturally grounded early learning opportunities for the children of Berens River First Nation. The centre provides a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Berens River First Nation Education believes that education is a shared community journey – one that strengthens families and helps build a brighter future for generations to come. Our Education Department offers five programs. Those programs are all in place to give our students the best chance to be successful in their schooling and careers.
